
The 'General Management Programme for Senior Executives' session 117 is being conducted from June, 06 to July, 01 2011. The participants include senior executives from India's leading Public Sector Enterprises like Hindustan Zinc Ltd., Shipping Corporation of India, Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, Engineers India Ltd., IFFCO, Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd. and different ministries/ organisation from other countries like Zanzibar, Sri Lanka, Fiji Islands, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Armenia, Laos, Indonesia, Gambia, South Africa and Mauritius. We are glad to have Dr Milind Phadtare and Dr Nirmalya Bagchi as our Programme Directors who has taken great care of our training requirements and other facilities for the programme duration.
The training so far has been wonderful and it is indeed amazing to share our experiences in different trades during discussions and interactions sessions with the faculties.
The training also includes below non-class room activities started in the first week itself:
o An Hour Yoga Session from 6:15am
o Visit to Historical places and other enchanting places in Hyderabad
o Extra-curricular Activities - Games & Sports
Since it is mandatory to participate in at least one Games & Sports acitivity, some of us has even started learning from scratch. Such is the spirit our Program Directors has instilled on us that we are sure that we will be having a very entertaining sporting events in the days to come. It is amazing to know that the batch consist executives with varied interest and skills in events such as Table Tennis, Tennis, Carom, Billiards, Badminton & Swimming.
The Yoga sessions has also attracted a good response as it provided a good opportunity to relax the mind and.
The hostel and canteen support staff too had been very helpful and supportive.
